in memory of
greg godwin
Ironmen Outdoor Ministries was shaped by the vision, faith, and obedient heart of its co-founder, Greg Godwin. What began as a calling placed on his heart became a ministry that reflects God’s love through service, fellowship, and the healing power of the outdoors.
Greg believed the outdoors was sacred ground. He understood that time spent in God’s creation, surrounded by brotherhood, purpose, and respect, could reach places words often cannot. Veterans, first responders, youth, and individuals with special abilities were never labels or statistics to Greg. They were people created in God’s image. They were family.
With humility and conviction, Greg co-founded Ironmen Outdoor Ministries to serve those who serve others. He poured his life into creating opportunities for healing, renewal, and connection through faith-driven outdoor experiences. His work was never about recognition. It was about obedience, compassion, and answering God’s call with action.
Those who knew Greg remember a servant leader who stepped forward wherever help was needed. He led quietly, gave generously, and placed the mission above himself. His faith was lived through service, and his influence continues in the lives changed because he chose to walk faithfully in his purpose.
Though Greg has been called home, his legacy remains. It lives on in every hunt, every fishing trip, every prayer spoken around a campfire, and every moment of encouragement shared through Ironmen Outdoor Ministries. His vision continues through the hands and hearts of those who carry this mission forward in faith.
We honor Greg Godwin not only for what he helped build, but for who he was. A servant. A leader. A man of faith. A brother to many. His life stands as a testimony of God’s love in action, and his mission will continue to inspire, guide, and bless generations to come.
Rest in peace, Greg. Your faith and your mission live on.
