youth
Ironmen Outdoor Ministries is committed to serving youth by creating safe, meaningful, and life-shaping outdoor experiences for children and young people who may not otherwise have access to them. Our youth programs are designed to support special needs youth, children from underserved communities, and families seeking positive, faith-centered opportunities in the outdoors.
Through guided hunts, fishing trips, and outdoor events, we introduce youth to nature in an environment that emphasizes encouragement, responsibility, teamwork, and respect for God’s creation. Every event is carefully planned with safety as the highest priority, supported by experienced volunteers, mentors, and partners who understand the unique needs of each child.
We believe time spent outdoors can build confidence, foster independence, and create memories that last a lifetime. For many participants, these experiences are their first opportunity to fish, hunt, or explore the outdoors in an accessible and supportive setting. When available, adaptive equipment such as track chairs is used to help remove physical barriers and allow youth to participate with dignity and inclusion.
Our youth programs are rooted in faith, fellowship, and service. Beyond outdoor skills, we focus on character development, positive role models, and building a sense of belonging. Families are welcomed as part of the experience, and we work closely with guardians to ensure every child feels supported, valued, and safe.
Youth participation is application-based to ensure the best possible experience for each child and to responsibly steward available resources. We encourage families to complete the Youth Application below for an opportunity to take part in upcoming youth events with Ironmen Outdoor Ministries.
