Gratitude to Enid Mississippi Corps of Engineers for an Unforgettable Veterans Hunt

Ironmen Outdoor Ministries Gulf Coast Region would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible team at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Enid Lake for inviting five disabled veterans to participate in a truly unforgettable hunt this week.
What was provided went far beyond hosting a hunting event. This experience gave our veterans the opportunity to breathe, to reconnect, to feel valued, and to experience the kind of healing that only time outdoors can offer. From the moment everyone arrived, our veterans were welcomed with open arms, treated like family, and shown a level of hospitality that will never be forgotten. The meals alone were some of the best we have ever experienced, but it was the heart behind the service that made the greatest impact.
More Than a Hunt
By the end of the week, nine deer were successfully harvested. While that is an incredible outcome, the true impact of this hunt cannot be measured in numbers. It was seen in the smiles, the renewed confidence, the stories shared around the table, and the quiet moments where peace began to settle in for men who have carried more than most will ever understand.
This event created space for healing, reflection, and brotherhood. It reminded our veterans that they are seen, appreciated, and honored.
Our Sincere Thanks
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the Enid Mississippi Corps of Engineers team for your generosity, your time, and your kindness. Thank you for honoring these veterans and for creating memories that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
This was not just a hunt.It was healing. It was brotherhood. It was hope.
We are forever grateful.
