Ironmen Outdoor Ministries Supports First All-Female WarHawgs 22 Heroes Retreat
Ironmen Outdoor Ministries Gulf Coast Region is proud to stand beside our sisters in service as we support a milestone moment in veteran outreach.
This week, our partners at WarHawgs hosted another powerful 22 Heroes Retreat and made history by welcoming their first-ever all-female veteran group. The result was an unforgettable few days filled with healing, connection, and shared experience.
Six incredible women, all United States veterans, came together for a weekend designed to restore strength and remind each participant that she is not alone. The retreat included a night of hog hunting under the Alabama sky, a full day at the skeet range breaking clays side by side, and peaceful time on the water bass fishing.
These women arrived as strangers and are heading home as sisters, bonded through shared service, resilience, and the healing power of the outdoors. Experiences like this create space for honest conversations, mutual understanding, and renewed confidence that only fellow veterans can provide.
Ironmen Outdoor Ministries is honored to support WarHawgs in delivering retreats that reflect our shared mission: serving those who have served us. Seeing that mission come to life through an all-female veteran retreat is a powerful reminder of why this work matters.
