WarHawgs 22 Heroes Retreat
This past week, Ironmen Outdoor Ministries was honored to support the WarHawgs 22 Heroes Retreat, where six incredible veterans came together for a powerful weekend of healing, bonding, and camaraderie.
The 22 Heroes Retreat is named in honor of the estimated 22 veterans we lose every day to suicide. The mission behind this retreat is simple, yet deeply meaningful: to remind our heroes that they are not alone.
Throughout the weekend, these veterans experienced the very best the outdoors has to offer. From hog hunting and skeet shooting to time spent fishing, every activity was shared alongside others who truly understand the journey they have walked. These moments were more than recreation. They were connection. They were understanding. They were therapy in its rawest and most authentic form

Events like this create space for veterans to breathe, to talk, to laugh, and to rebuild bonds that service once forged. It is in these shared experiences that healing begins and brotherhood is strengthened.
To the six veterans who joined us, we want you to know this: you are the reason we do what we do.
And to everyone who supports WarHawgs, thank you for standing beside this mission and helping carry it forward. Your support makes it possible to continue reaching those who need it most.
Together, we will continue to fight for those who fought for us.
