Ironmen Outdoor Ministries is proud to share that this year’s Tri-County Hunting Club Veterans Event was a meaningful success and a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished through community, service, and support for our veterans.

Every veteran in attendance received a backpack filled with donated items from the generous sponsors who stand behind our mission here at Ironmen Outdoor Ministries Gulf Coast Region. These backpacks represented more than supplies. They were a symbol of appreciation, encouragement, and gratitude for those who have served.

The event began with a visit to the range, followed by time in the woods that resulted in a memorable moment for a first-time hunter who successfully harvested a doe. A coordinated dog and drone recovery followed, resulting in a successful recovery and a valuable learning experience for all involved.

That evening, everyone came together to enjoy an outstanding meal generously donated by Bush’s Bar-B-Que. The food and fellowship created an atmosphere of connection and camaraderie that set the tone for the remainder of the event.

On the second day, participants encountered a very large buck during the morning hunt that resulted in a close miss. Later that afternoon, another doe was successfully harvested. The day concluded with a wonderful home-cooked meal prepared by Levin Parmer and his wife, Kathy Parmer, which was greatly appreciated by all in attendanc

e.

While no deer were harvested on the final day, every participant consistently saw deer throughout their time in the woods. The experience remained engaging and rewarding until the very end.

Events like this do not happen without tremendous support. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this veterans event possible, including our hosts, food donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
